Today am very happy pinging with my Nokia E6,at first I thought it was a joke, but after testing it,wow! I was so amazed pinging with my elder brother that uses a blackberry touch screen.
Personally, I have conducted many test on the variation between Blackberry & Nokia phones, but i bet you that Nokia is 99.9% better than Blackberry Phones, the only thing that drives people mad about B.B Phones is just the Pinging Features in it, As in Blackberry to Blackberry users can chat, thats all.
It is obvious that some people must have heard of it but might not see it possible due to the fact that they feel that a blackberry is made to ping and a symbian phone is meant for sms and at most browse the internet.
I have been talking about a very wonderful application called whats app,you don't need any manual setup like that, all you need to do is just download this software, install it on your phone and follow the on screen instruction that will be given by the application, with that off you go.
Now lets make a little bit of comparison,
1.Blackberry need internet access to ping, so Nokia phones too need internet access to Ping but the Good News about it is that you wont be Charged for anything at all, I have tested this App when my account balance is 0.05 on my phone and it Rocks.
2.WhatsApp can only works among users who have the Application on their Phone, You can't Ping those who don't have it, You can Use the "Teller a Friend" Features in the Application to Invite your Friends to Download and Use the Application, also to pinging on blackberry users.
You will be asking yourself what your pin is,but I am making it clear to you that your phone number is your pin.Ok now that I know my pin,how can I add others to my favorite?
All you need to do is to add his or her phone number to your phone book, after that open your whatsapp application and he or she will appear in your favorite.
Note that even if the application is not open and you are pinged by any one,you will still receive the message.
